“My vision was to create a unique living space in the heart of Paris, offering style with privacy and real volume to guests who might otherwise be cramped into the confines of a hotel room – no matter how luxurious.”

An award- winning property:

The Loft was voted by the Observer and Marie Claire Magazine as one of the top ten rental apartments in Europe. The Loft has also been featured in several international Interior Design documentaries (HGTV; Interiors; Maison 5) and many international Interior Design magazines and publications (including French Interior Design; Glamorous Living Spaces; Art & Decoration; Marie-Claire; Maison et Vivre and many more…)

“The Loftfactory is one of those places you never want to leave. Prices vary depending on the season and length of stay, but whatever the rate, it’s worth every euro.” Laith Al-Kaisy – The Review

Tucked discreetly behind a vine-draped passageway in the heart of Paris lies a rare architectural gem: a former 19th-century industrial printing house, once engineered by none other than Gustave Eiffel himself. Today, this soaring space, with its majestic seven-meter vaulted ceilings, has been reborn as The Loft, a luxurious private residence where history, design and comfort meet.

It’s not just the grandeur of the space that stuns. During its meticulous restoration, builders unearthed a section of a 1st-century Roman wall, part of the original fortifications of Lutetia, the ancient settlement that would become Paris. These stones now stand as a quiet testament to the layers of history etched into this extraordinary home.

But the most compelling story might just lie beneath your feet. Carved into the foundations are niches once used to hold paper bobbins, humble remnants of the building’s printing past. It turns out, they were far more than storage. A local journalist, whose grandfather worked in the building during WWII, revealed that these spaces once served as a clandestine hideout for the French Resistance, where underground newspapers were printed in secret defiance. Today, these very recesses have been transformed into a serene gym and wellness space – living proof that even the quiet corners of Paris have stories to tell.

The four beautifully appointed queen bedrooms each offer privacy and plush comfort. With 3.5 sleek bathrooms, two expansive lounges, and multiple living zones, it’s a residence that invites both solitude and connection. The design is modular, allowing spaces to be tailored – whether you’re seeking stillness or celebration.

Despite its vast proportions, The Loft radiates warmth. Guests often remark on the cocooning atmosphere, made richer by contemporary comforts: high-speed WiFi, home automation and not one but three multimedia systems. The pièce de résistance? A cinema-style screen stretching over three metres wide in the main lounge,  ideal for film nights or presentations. The dedicated office space, complete with a printer and scanner, can be easily closed off for privacy or opened to flow with the mezzanine above.

When the city outside swelters or chills, The Loft stays serene, thanks to state-of-the-art climate control system. Step onto the private terrace for morning coffee or twilight apéro, overlooking a peaceful, plant-filled courtyard. And just beyond your door, the cobbled charm of a preserved 19th-century passageway serves as a tranquil (and designated smoking) retreat from the urban buzz.

Whether you’re discovering Paris for the first time or returning like an old friend, The Loft is more than just a place to stay, it’s a story you’ll live inside. A seamless blend of history and hospitality, right in the pulsing heart of the City of Light.

Tucked away in a peaceful, tree-lined courtyard in the vibrant Quartier Montorgueil, The Loft is a rare gem at the heart of Paris. Just a short stroll from iconic landmarks such as the Louvre, Palais Royal and the historic Marais district, this stylish and spacious urban villa offers both tranquillity and unparalleled access to the city’s cultural heartbeat.

Within minutes, guests can find themselves beside the Seine, where the energy of the Olympic activities comes alive, or wandering through charming side streets that lead to the city’s most cherished monuments. Paris’s celebrated sights – whether it’s Notre-Dame, the Pompidou Centre, or the bankside booksellers – are all easily reached, often within a 5 to 10-minute walk.

Four Metro stations, all within two minutes of the doorstep, make exploring even more effortless. For those arriving by car or catching a cab, access is smooth and convenient, though you may find yourself reluctant to leave once you’ve settled into this quietly luxurious retreat.

Montorgueil itself is one of Paris’s best-kept secrets: a lively, pedestrian-friendly quarter that hums with local life and yet remains delightfully under the radar. Once home to the city’s bustling flower and produce markets and later a haven for artists and couturiers, the area has reinvented itself as one of Paris’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.

In recent years, the district has welcomed a wave of modern cultural landmarks. Visit the cutting-edge Pinaud Modern Art Museum housed in the elegant, refurbished Bourse de Paris. Take in panoramic views from the rooftop bar at Madame Rêve, or admire the architectural elegance of the reborn Samaritaine department store, complete with its own sky-high restaurant and bar, Cheval Blanc.

For families and urban explorers alike, the new Les Halles complex is a revelation. A billion-euro transformation featuring an imaginative children’s playground and one of the largest cinema venues in Paris.

Yet, despite all this, Montorgueil retains the soul of a village. Along its cobbled lanes, you’ll discover a treasure trove of gourmet delights: artisan bakeries, exquisite chocolatiers, organic produce markets and cafés that beckon with the scent of fresh espresso and warm croissants. From Michelin-starred dining to cosy bistros and stylish cocktail bars, the neighbourhood offers something for every taste, all within steps of The Loft.

This is Paris as it’s meant to be experienced: effortlessly elegant, deeply local and brimming with charm.
