High in the Tarentaise Valley, Val d’Isère blends bold alpine scenery with world-class skiing and a vibrant village soul. Snow-sure and sun-kissed, it hums with energy while holding onto its Savoyard charm, with wooden chalets gathered around the old stone church and cafés glowing with warmth.

Its legendary slopes, part of the vast Espace Killy ski area, range from gentle cruisers to thrilling steeps and sweeping off-piste. High-altitude bowls, glaciers and endless views make every descent feel epic, yet wide pistes and top ski schools keep it welcoming for all abilities.

The village mixes rustic character with cosmopolitan flair. Traditional bakeries and Savoyard restaurants sit alongside chic boutiques and lively après-ski, shifting from relaxed lunches to buzzing evenings with ease.

In summer, Val d’Isère softens but never loses its magic. Alpine lakes shimmer, wildflowers bloom and trails open for hiking and biking, revealing a true year-round mountain escape.

Val d’Isère is bold yet beautiful – a place where high-altitude adventure meets timeless alpine spirit.
